A healthy eating and weight loss diet book that advises eating a gluten-free, whole foods, moderately low-carb diet.
No wheat or other gluten-containing foods, no grains, no processed or sugary foods. (This is similar to paleo diets).
This book sold well throughout the year, peaking in late summer 2012.

The original book sold well through fall 2012, when the cookbook was released and replaced it as a top-seller.

A 4-phase weight-loss diet:

(3) more carbs and less protein
(4) same as phase 3 but with more flexibility on weekends.
The book was a top-seller in 2011 and sold well until fall 2012.

This book started the year as one of the bestselling books of all types in the country, and slowly moved down the chart until dropping out of the top 100 in summer 2012. The Dukan Diet Life Plan and The Dukan Diet Recipe Book also sold well at the beginning of the year.
